  1. You’ll find a very large and regularly updated list of heritage-related organisations (mostly UK but many US and European ones too) here: http://www.buildingconservation.com/directory/prodlist.php?category=Advisory+bodies+%26+associations
    The list includes relevant government departments, amenity societies, sources of heritage funding, craft training organisations and many more. Entries include hotlinks to the organisations’ websites and their contact details.
